We are skiers, snowboarders, bikers and travelers. All together we have explored well over 100 locations in the Alps. We have accumulated thorough expertise when it comes to terrain, snow conditions and all that equals fun. Thanks to our commitment and clear mission we have become the largest Europe focused winter sports community in Asia.

We’ve designed The Alpine experience to satisfy all levels of winter sports enthusiasts. Regardless of whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced rider, you will find something suitable for yourself. For us, it’s not only about the riding only, but also about the friendships that last long after the snow has melted.

Our tours are not typical with the usual fixed itinerary. Thanks to our own cars, we are flexible to go wherever the best conditions are. Normally, within a one-hour drive, there will be 5 to 10 resorts available for us to choose from. Our team of hosts will check the snowfall daily to bring you to the best possible destination. Fresh snow? Let’s go for some tree runs! Sunny weather? How about a resort tour to enjoy the views!

FAQ

Q. Insurance
Skiing itself is an extreme sport. To go to Europe, you must have Schengen medical insurance (in English), which covers skiing as a sport. This may be checked at the beginning of the tour. If you have difficulty finding an insurance plan, we can recommend one to you.
Q. Can I stay in Europe for a few more days on my own?
Yes, provided you can go on your own to the airport/urban area before the scheduled pick-up time each week. The pick-up location and time will be defined for each week. Remember, you must be on time. Being late means the others need to wait for you. Examples of flight recommendations are written in the registration form. Please be sure to contact us in advance to arrange your pick-up together with the group..
Q. If I have missed the early-bird discount, is there going to be another discount?
Please refer to the registration form above ("BOOK NOW")..
Q. If I ski for less than 6 consecutive days in a week, can I return the ski pass and get money back?
We usually ski for 6 days in a week. If you prefer to ski less, please let us know as soon as possible (at the latest before your departure). The ski passes are pre-registered. We shall try our best to assist you in getting a refund or discount. However, if the group purchase has already taken place, kindly understand that a discount may not be possible. This is important.
Q. If I want to buy food at the supermarket, can you help me?
We recommend that the persons staying together in an apartment share the cost of buying food. As such, we will bring your group to the supermarket regularly. In addition, you may buy whatever you wish for your own consumption. If you need to drive somewhere, we will assist you.
Q. Can we make any stops for souvenir shopping or sightseeing?
Generally, our bus brings you from the airport directly to the ski resort. If there is enough time, we will arrange some interesting stops in a flexible manner.
Q. I need to rent ski equipment. Can you help me?
On the day of arrival (or the following day in the morning), we will assist you to rent equipment and help you communicate with the staff in the shops. Make sure you bring enough euros or Swiss francs. Alternatively, you may use a credit card.
Q. Will someone lead and guide the tour?
Generally, you will be split into groups according to skiing levels and preferences. On the first day of skiing, we will introduce to everyone the ski resort and its map. Then, you will be divided into groups. Every night, we will communicate the departure times of the next day. During the day, you may ski in your group, or you may meet up with your friends.
Q. Are there any recommended mobile phone SIM cards in Europe?
We recommend you buy an internet eSIM which can be used across the EU and Switzerland with a sufficiently large data package. In the evening, we will exchange lots of photos and videos in the chat and raise a glass or two. Jokes aside, the apartments also have Wi-Fi, but the speed in the mountains isn’t comparable to a 5G network.
Q. Recommend packing list
In addition to your ski equipment, bring a voltage adapter, a multi-plug, a long charging cable, and personal medicine. If you are not used to eating European food, please bring snacks or your favorite ingredients for cooking.
Q. Will there be a lot of T-/J-bar lifts in Europe?
There will be T-bars or J-bars. We recommend that you practice riding them before the trip. Having said that, those ski lifts can be avoided. If you really encounter a T-/J-bar beginner lift, make sure you are with a friend who can support you on the spot!
Q. What type of snowboard should I bring?
We recommend an All-Mountain type that allows you to ski/snowboard even when there is no powder.
Q. If I get injured or ill, will you assist me to see a doctor?
If anyone needs medical treatment, we will bring him/her to the nearest hospital. However, those expenses must be covered by the respective participant. He/she must be prepared to pay by credit card or in cash. After obtaining a medical testimony, the process of getting money back from the insurance will be started after the trip, that is, in your home country.
Q. If I get Covid-19 while skiing, will I be required to quarantine in Europe?
Not now, but if you return to your home country and are tested positive there, you may need to stay in quarantine. This rule is going to change from time to time based on epidemic prevention guidelines. We will monitor them closely.
Q. Is it true that ski resorts in Europe are not suitable for snowboarders?
There are many flat slopes and even short uphill slopes in European ski resorts. If you don't have enough speed, mentally prepare yourself to walk a little bit. It can happen to beginners.
